Student Support Program

Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders

At GovSupportFund, we believe education is the foundation of a bright future. That’s why we are committed to supporting Ethiopian students who show potential but face financial barriers in pursuing higher education. Our Student Support Program offers financial assistance to students who meet certain criteria and need help to cover tuition fees, books, supplies, and living expenses.

What We Offer

  • Up to 100,000 ETB in financial assistance for eligible students.
  • Financial aid to cover tuition fees, accommodation, and other living expenses.
  • Special support for students from low-income households and those pursuing critical fields like science, engineering, medicine, and education.
  • Assistance for students from rural areas or underrepresented communities who have the potential to thrive with additional support.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Student Support Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Ethiopian Citizen: The applicant must be a Ethiopian national.
  2. Financial Need: Applicants must demonstrate a clear financial need and show that they are unable to afford the full cost of education without assistance.
  3. Academic Standing: Applicants must meet specific academic criteria (e.g., a minimum grade point average or specific entrance exam scores).
